The GEM-5059 22Mbps Wireless Network Access Point is fully compatible with IEEE 802.11b //standard. The GEM-5059 supports new data modulation PBCC technology, which enables high data with double speed of up to 22Mbps and 20% more transmitting and receiving coverage. The GEM-5059 supports auto data rate fallback under noisy environment and longer distance to ensure stability of the wireless network. The GEM-5059 enhances the WEP encryption up to 256 bits, which is safer than the original IEEE 802.11b device in data transmitting. The GEM-5059 offers four operating modes: AP, AP Client, Wireless Bridge, and Multiple Bridge. The GEM-5059 can be used to setup an infrastructure network under AP Mode, and connect several Ethernet networks together under Wireless Bridge & Multiple Bridge mode, and offer wireless network service for the computer systems that aren't supported by wireless network adapters under AP client Mode. The GEM-5059 integrates the DHCP server, and can assign IP Addresses automatically. We also offer a management utility for the GEM-5059.
